My name is Tamiko Chase (she/they). I am a mixed-race Japanese-Canadian designer from Winnipeg, MB; Treaty 1 Territory.
I design both digitally and physically - I also work with installation and illustration. Playful investigation and a considerate approach to research are key components to my practice. I like to work closely with clients to create exciting and uncompromising visual identities and products.

"Monsters" Tribune Cover
A book cover for the University of Manitoba's Arts Tribune.
This edition of the Tribune's theme was Monsters. The concept for the cover is based on the idea of monsters “hiding in plain sight.” It includes illustrations of fantastical and real-life monsters - both historical and modern. The cover acts as a “who’s who” game of pop culture references, mythology, and headline-making humans.
